As wranglers (animal handlers) we have been involved in many projects in all kinds of places.
To be honest when it comes to invertebrates, quite often a film production company will not see the need for wranglers, this is a false economy, having kept many species over the years we have grown to understand the tell tale signs of an action about to happen, so can predict a better time for a specific shot, or help with lighting to avoid stressing the inverts and using up time.
On set our responsibility is the welfare of the livestock and the success of the the required shot
From filming here at the GARDEN STUDIO on set or through to world travelling with film crews to get the shots in the field.
We have even ended up in front of camera when needed.
